These 5.56 PMAG extensions work on any 5.56/.223, 30 or 40 round, Gen 2 or 3, PMAG magazines (we cannot guarantee fit on any other mag.) These extensions add 5 extra rounds to a PMAG 30 round magazine and extra 6 rounds in a 40 round PMAG magazine. Extensions do add a little extra weight to the magazine and helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. They will give you more ammo and therefore an edge over your enemies. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is Type III Hard Coat Anodized to ensure durability and a long life.
